Whats the role

At Westpac Private youll be the trusted relationship partner for a portfolio of high-net-worth clients helping them navigate important financial decisions and supporting their banking lending and wealth needs.

As a Senior Private Banker youll build deep and lasting client relationships working closely with specialists across the bank to deliver personalised solutions and exceptional service. Youll spend your time understanding what matters most to your clients identifying new opportunities growing your professional networks and creating experiences that make clients feel genuinely valued.

Youll also play an important role in supporting business growth strengthening referral partnerships and helping clients access the full breadth of expertise available through Westpac Private.

This is a full-time role based in Melbourne / Naarm Wurundjeri Country.

What do I need

  • A passion for building trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients
  • Strong networking and business development skills with the ability to create opportunities through referrals and professional connections
  • The ability to understand complex banking lending and wealth needs and connect clients with tailored solutions
  • Confidence collaborating with specialists and stakeholders to deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Strong judgement risk awareness and a commitment to achieving the right outcomes for customers
  • Mandarin language proficiency is highly regarded given the diverse client base and relationship opportunities within the market.
