Senior Operations Manager, ADC DC Physical Security

This is your chance to build something from the ground up. As a Senior Operations and Program Manager within the DC Security International Programs team youll take ownership of the Cleared Escort Program (CEP) driving it from concept through to full operational readiness potentially across multiple regions. This isnt about maintaining the status quo. Its about creating the blueprint that will define how physical security infrastructure operates at scale across some of the most sensitive environments in the country.

Youll be the driving force behind end-to-end program delivery orchestrating complex workstreams aligning diverse stakeholders and ensuring security initiatives integrate seamlessly into wider Region Build programmes. Your technical understanding of physical security systems combined with your programme management rigour will ensure pace quality and compliance never falter even when youre navigating multi-site delivery environments with competing priorities.

Key job responsibilities
You wont just manage programmes here youll architect them. Your core mission is to support the Cluster Security Managers to take the Physical Security Infrastructure from vision to reality building the operational framework recruitment pipeline and governance structures that will sustain it for years to come.

Youll lead end-to-end delivery of physical security initiatives across multiple regions coordinating cross-functional teams and managing the intricate web of dependencies that come with large-scale infrastructure programmes. Every decision you make will ripple across Region Build timelines and youll be the one ensuring security workstreams dovetail seamlessly into the broader delivery cadence.

Your days will be defined by strategic thinking and decisive action developing programme roadmaps tracking milestones against timelines and proactively identifying risks before they become blockers. Youll build relationships with stakeholders across security construction operations and leadership becoming the trusted voice that brings clarity to complexity.

Youll establish the standards for compliance and quality across concurrent initiatives ensuring nothing slips through the cracks even as the programme scales. When challenges emerge in multi-site delivery environments youll be the one who finds the path forward balancing pace with precision and ambition with rigour.

This is programme management at its most impactful: building capability that directly protects Australias most critical assets.


A day in the life
Partner with Regional Security Manager and all Data Centre Security Managers infrastructure and service Technical Infrastructure Program Managers and Project Managers to capture the escort requirements across the lifecycle of the region. Work directly with cleared escort vendors and personnel security partners to procure clear onboard/train schedule and deliver the resource to customers. Maintain routine communication with stakeholders for daily escort utilisation. Measure assess and report out program analytics and voice of the customer feedback in support of business reviews.

- Experience in one or more of the following areas: data center or network capacity planning data center or network infrastructure program/project management or related technical fields
- 7 years of security-related professional experience

- Experience working with Cleared Security Escorts and Cleared Security Escort vendors
- Understanding of the Australian Governments Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
