About the Role
About the Role
As a Senior Manager in BDO Perths Technology Risk and Cyber Security team youll play a key role in growing our local capability while leveraging the expertise of our established national Risk Advisory Services practice.
You will lead the delivery of cyber security technology risk and resilience engagements build strong client relationships develop team members and contribute to the continued growth of the practice across Western Australia.
You will also play an important role in developing our service offerings coaching and mentoring team members and supporting business development activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Leading the delivery of complex cyber security technology risk and resilience engagements including risk assessments IT audits cyber maturity reviews control assurance governance reviews and resilience assessments while providing technical oversight and quality review of engagement outcomes
Contributing to the development and management of client relationships including identifying client needs supporting opportunity development and helping build long-term account growth
Contributing to the development and enhancement of service offerings across cyber security technology risk resilience and related assurance services
Leading the development of practical mitigation strategies improvement roadmaps and management reporting for senior stakeholders
Managing engagement scope budgets timelines resourcing billing risks and quality of deliverables
Supporting and leading proposals statements of work and other business development activities in collaboration with Partners and Directors
Managing and developing team members including resource planning utilisation performance development coaching and quality review of engagement outputs
Contributing to the growth of the Perth Technology Risk and Cyber Security practice through market engagement service development and internal capability building
Undertaking ongoing professional development activities related to your field of expertise
Skills/Attributes Required
Experience in a similar role within professional services consulting or industry
Relevant degree or postgraduate qualification
Demonstrated experience leading cyber security technology risk IT audit control assurance risk management andresilience engagements
Familiarity with a range of cyber security technology risk and resilience frameworks standards and regulatory requirements. Relevant experience may include frameworks such as NIST CSF AESCSF ACSC Essential Eight CPS 234 ISO 27001 COBIT IT SOX and related industry frameworks.
Experience building and managing client relationships developing opportunities and supporting business growth
Strong commercial and engagement management skills including scope budget resourcing quality and risk management
Experience managing coaching and developing team members including performance development and quality review
Relevant certifications preferred (CISA CISM CRISC CISSP SABSA ISO27001 PRINCE2 etc.)
