About the role

Our Service team works closely with partners across the business to deliver great outcomes for our members and employers. As the link between Rest and our service partners we focus on driving continuous improvement resolving issues and supporting the delivery of Rests strategy.

As Senior Manager Solutions & Remediation youll focus on two key areas:

  • Proactive issue identification Investigate processes services and emerging risks to identify issues early helping ensure our operations and partner-delivered services perform as expected.
  • Leading remediation outcomes Take ownership of complex remediation activities from investigation through to resolution identifying root causes managing regulatory obligations and driving sustainable improvements across the business.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Proactively identify emerging risks issues and opportunities for improvement before they become significant compliance or operational concerns.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Rest and external providers to investigate complex issues analyse data and define effective solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders influencing priorities and driving alignment on key outcomes.
  • Translate complex information into clear compelling recommendations for executive Board and regulatory audiences.
  • Lead analysis across processes systems compliance and operational frameworks to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver remediation strategies mobilising teams and resources to achieve timely and sustainable outcomes.
  • Collaborate across the business to uncover root causes solve problems and implement practical member-focused solutions.
  • Identify assess and manage risks ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place and aligned with Rests risk framework.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • IIBA or similar industry standard certification preferred.

Required experience understanding or credentials including:

  • Extensive business domain knowledge in superannuation or financial services desirable
  • Ability to understand business functionality business complexity and interdependencies
  • Ability to develop compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations.
  • Ability to articulate issues to senior managers (including executive leadership and boards)
  • Highly developed strategic analytical problem solving issues management and evaluation skills to deliver innovative solutions
  • Understanding of modelling techniques
  • Excellent communication facilitation consultation negotiation and reporting/presentation skills including the ability to influence people at all levels and foster and maintain collaborative working relationships both within and outside the organisation
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
  • Proven ability to work under pressure meet deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Well developed team building and collaborative capability.
