Senior Industrial Relations Advisor - Construction
About the Employer
Our client is an infrastructure engineering and construction contractor delivering transport civil and energy projects. Its teams work across design construction and project delivery in Australia.
The Opportunity
Guide workplace relations on a major Parramatta station development partnering with project HR leadership and operational teams. You will translate industrial obligations into practical project advice and strengthen relationships with the workforce and external stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
Implement workplace relations plans and support labour resourcing initiatives.
Advise supervisors and employees on industrial matters and help develop negotiate and implement enterprise agreements.
Manage Right of Entry processes and constructive union engagement.
Audit workplace and subcontractor compliance with the NSW Code and Fair Work obligations.
Support investigations grievances disciplinary issues and dispute resolution.
Deliver IR training monitor legislative change and improve workplace relations systems.
Requirements
Skills Education and Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Industrial Relations Employee Relations HR or a related discipline.
IR or employee relations advisory experience in construction infrastructure or a comparable project environment.
Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act industrial legislation enterprise agreements and the NSW Code.
Experience engaging unions subcontractors frontline leaders and regulators.
Strong compliance auditing workplace investigation communication and influencing skills.
Organisation and attention to detail across competing priorities.
