We are seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to join our team in either Brisbane or Adelaide supporting the delivery of a large-scale mining project.

In this role you will act as a key interface between project teams and our customer ensuring all project documentation is accurately controlled managed and distributed through the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) throughout the project lifecycle.

What youll do

  • Set up and commence new projects in alignment with Worley ways of working and customer requirements.
  • Quality check register and distribute project deliverables both internally and externally.
  • Create maintain and implement project procedures and work instructions for document control teams located across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate and manage document control activities across project stakeholders.
  • Assist with work allocation and provide guidance to other team members.
  • Train supervise and mentor Document Control personnel.
  • Conduct regular EDMS audits to ensure compliance with project procedures and standards.
  • Attend customer supplier and project meetings including project kick-offs providing document control expertise and support.
  • Manage supplier documentation processes including document numbering submissions reviews and close-out activities.
  • Provide troubleshooting support to suppliers and project stakeholders.
  • Support project redline mark-up and as-built documentation processes.
  • Create and maintain project reporting to support document management and expediting activities.
  • Collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines teams and stakeholders while managing competing deadlines.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Document Controller within a large-scale or complex project environment.
  • Strong understanding of document control systems processes and project delivery requirements.
  • Experience working with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) with Aconex experience highly regarded.
  • Ability to troubleshoot systems processes and document management issues.
  • Proven ability to supervise mentor and support team members.
  • Strong organisational prioritisation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with customers suppliers and project teams.
