Senior Analyst, Transformation

About theOpportunity
The Senior Analyst will work together with Executive sponsors senior leaders and the Transformation team to deliver important strategic projects. This position is accountable for analysis of data and information with a view to understanding the current state and identifying pain points and improvement opportunities. The occupant will engage stakeholders at various levels of the University to build solutions to improve or transform ways of working.
This position will solve complex challenges through insightful data analysis and effective stakeholder engagement. The position will be involved in important strategic discussions on Griffiths future direction and how Griffith can achieve the ambitions in our new strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities
Lead workshops for large groups of stakeholders including end users and senior management teams eliciting solutions and future vision.
Assess analyse and research data and information policies and objectives. Recommend opportunities for improvement that are aligned to the Universitys strategic goals and compatible with its complex organisational structures. Secure agreement from senior stakeholders on recommended solution options.
Conduct complex data analytics to assess the current state and forecast the impact of the future options.
Prepare insightful and persuasive documents which detail the insights from data analysis.
Lead sprint teams including business analysts and subject matter experts in analysis and delivery phases. Mentor and support operational teams in embracing a culture of continuous improvement and in understanding and managing process change.
Provide advice to operational and project teams on impacts of proposed changes on related systems processes and organisational structures as well as considering impacts on other areas of the Universitys operations.
Develop performance reporting for change activities including assessment of costs benefits and risks preparation of specifications and reporting.
Implement agreed solutions in collaboration with functional teams key stakeholders users and project teams ensuring design planning and testing components are delivered in alignment with the Universitys project and change management framework.
Support the Delivery Lead and Functional Lead in delivering on the objectives of the Program and the University Strategy including immediate improvement priorities as well as medium to long term transformation opportunities.
Reinforce the spirit and goals of the transformation agenda and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Support compliance with relevant legislation and University policies and procedures including equity and health & safety and exhibit good practice in relation to same.
About you
The occupant of this position will hold tertiary qualifications and extensive relevant experience in strategic analysis data analysis and/or change projects; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex issues and develop clear evidence-based recommendations.
You will be a confident communicator and comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
Candidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and may be subject to a National criminal history check.

HEW 9 Base range - $137165.65 - $142070.17 17% superannuation. Full package range - $160483.80 - $166222.09.
