Security Supervisor

Downer has been awarded a major Integrated Facilities Management contract with Stockland delivering services across a national portfolio of commercial offices retail centres logistics facilities and land lease communities. Thislong-termpartnership reflects Downers strength in managing large complex portfolios and deliveringhigh-qualityservices at scale.

We have an opportunity for aSecurity Supervisorto join our workforce and play a key role insupporting the effective and efficient management of properties across Stocklands national portfolio providing support to Stockland Piccadilly Retail located in Sydneys midtown precinct.

The rostered hours are as follows:

Full-time Security Supervisor Monday Thursday 6am 16:00 (40 hours p/wk.)

Reporting to the Facilities Manager youll help deliver high-quality outcomes for our client and our communities.

What Youll Do

This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day security operations

• Liaise with key stakeholders to review incidents identify risk educate and communicate relevant safety awareness

• Respond to incidents alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner

• Provide general assistance and maintain a visible approachable presence

• Observe and report suspicious activity hazards and maintenance issues

• Maintain accurate records follow procedures and liaise with relevant services when required

What Youll Bring

• Certificate II (mandatory) or Certificate III in Security (desirable)

• Current First Aid Certificate with CPR (mandatory)

• Working with Childrens Check (mandatory)

• 5 years of work as a Security professional with a minimum of 2 years in a shopping centre environment

• Sound knowledge of security alarm and management systems monitoring CCTV alarms and access control systems

• Strong communication conflict resolution and report-writing skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team with a good understanding of safety procedures
