About the Role

We are looking for a commercially driven Modernisation Sales Consultant to join our Modernisation team in Perth. Reporting to the Service and Modernisation Manager you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and growing existing customer relationships across KONEs Modernisation portfolio.

This role is ideally suited to someone with a technical sales background who is confident engaging with customers on-site taking measurements identifying upgrade opportunities and managing opportunities through the full sales cycle. This role has regular customer-facing activity and site visits across Perth and wider WA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across WA.

  • Identify qualify and convert modernisation and upgrade opportunities.

  • Conduct regular site visits to assess equipment gather technical information and develop customer solutions.

  • Create tailored value propositions that meet customer needs and business objectives.

  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract award.

  • Build and coordinate effective relationships with customers consultants contractors and internal stakeholders.

  • Contribute to strategic growth plans across the WA modernisation business.

What Were Looking For

  • At least 5 years experience in technical sales business development or account management.

  • Proven experience selling technical solutions within construction industrial engineering infrastructure manufacturing or mining sectors.

  • Experience working with consultants builders facilities managers or asset owners preferred but not required

  • Knowledge of modernisation refurbishment or capital equipment projects preferred but not required

  • Strong customer engagement and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to develop opportunities from prospecting through to close.

  • Commercial acumen with strong negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Salesforce CRM and SAP experience
