Our customer experience is important to us and we have a broad customer base that you will work with. From those celebrating momentous moments like painting their first home to trade experts who work with paint as part of their profession we deliver a premium experience every time.

We are looking for a Casual Sales Assistant to join the team supporting multiple stores across the Sunshine Coast region (Noosa Coolum & Currimundi).

This casual position works across a rotating roster in our 6-day a week trading store (Monday - Saturday). The successful candidate will need to be available for Monday Fridays and Saturday as a minimum requirement (with additional hours available during AL and PL periods).

You will be responsible for:

• Providing knowledgeable advice and product solutions to trade and retail customers
• Handling all paint related enquiries including tinting paint products and colour matching to customer requirements
• Inventory control/stock replenishment (manual handling up to 22kg involved)
• Taking orders in-store and by phone
• Building strong relationships with new and repeat customers
• Assisting with visual displays and store presentation
• Making local deliveries

What you will bring to the role:

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
• Previous experience in customer service retail inventory management or merchandising (desirable)
• Confidence using technology (Experience with Point of Sales systems advantageous)
• Sound numeracy skills and attention to detail including the ability to accurately process transactions and comprehend tint percentages/ratios
• The ability to follow processes take initiative and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical customer-focused approach.
• Trade experience is highly regarded

Requirements:

• Current valid drivers license
• Australian Working Rights
