Make your mark in Enterprise Risk Management
As well as helping customers to manage risks AIG faces a wide array of our own risks every day. The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team partners across the AIG organization to inform strategic decision-making and to facilitate rational risk-taking that drives profitable growth. ERM ensures we have the right tools processes and systems in place to identify measure and manage our risks. As an ERM colleague you can enhance your acumen by helping to shape and support our approach to risk.
How you will create an impact
The Risk Analyst will provide practical Line 2 risk support across priority project activity ad-hoc risk matters and enterprise risk uplift initiatives helping to strengthen risk identification assessment documentation and governance across Australia and New Zealand.
Working closely with ERM business teams and other stakeholders the role will support delivery of risk-related project outcomes contribute to consistent risk practices and provide timely analysis coordination and reporting to enable effective oversight and decision-making.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential for extension subject to business requirements.
Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
Support Line 2 risk input into priority projects including project initiatives risk change activities and ERM uplift work.
Assist with risk assessments issue and action tracking control documentation governance materials and reporting packs.
Provide ad-hoc analytical coordination and stakeholder support to help resolve risk matters and maintain momentum across deliverables.
Work with business stakeholders and change/project teams to promote consistent application of risk frameworks tools and expectations.
Capture insights dependencies and emerging risks to support escalation oversight and continuous improvement across the Line 2 risk agenda.
What youll need to succeed
Experience in risk management project support governance controls compliance or related discipline ideally within financial services or another regulated environment.
Strong analytical and data management skills with the ability to convert complex risk information into clear practical outputs.
Ability to support multiple workstreams manage competing priorities and deliver accurate well-organised materials at pace.
Confidence working with cross-functional stakeholders including project teams ERM business owners and change partners.
Sound judgement attention to detail and curiosity with a proactive approach to identifying issues following up actions and supporting effective risk outcomes.
