As part of the evolution of the acclaimed aMare dining experience we are seeking professional polished and guest-focused Restaurant Hosts to join both aMare and the newly opening VistaMare at Crown Sydney.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating exceptional first impressions enjoys engaging with guests and understands the importance of seamless reservations and table management within a high-volume premium dining environment.
As a Restaurant Host you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in delivering a warm professional and memorable arrival experience.
This is a casual position to commence offering 3040 hours per week with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.
- Welcome and seat guests with professionalism and confidence
- Manage reservations waitlists and guest flow through SevenRooms (7R)
- Answer reservation enquiries via phone and email
- Present menus and offer guests their first beverage upon arrival
- Maintain communication with the floor and management teams regarding table availability
- Assist with clearing resetting and preparing tables for upcoming bookings
- Manage guest requests and special occasions with attention to detail
- Ensure reception and host areas remain organised and presentable
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining venue standards
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience as a Host Receptionist or Reservations Coordinator in a premium hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of SevenRooms (7R) and reservations management
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Exceptional presentation and grooming standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure
- NSW RSA Certificate
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to successfully complete Crown Sydney Police and Compliance Checks
- Availability to work evenings weekends and public holidays
- 3040 hours per week with consistent rosters
