People & Culture (P&C) plays a critical role in supporting the University achieve its vision and ambitions. UWAs strategy for the development and performance of its people is at the core of the Universitys planning. The ability of P&C professionals to partner effectively with senior leadership teams across the University is crucial to develop opportunities and provide practical and innovative solutions to achieve academic and business goals.

About the opportunity

  • Support the design refinement and stewardship of UWAs remuneration and job architecture frameworks as enduring enterprise capability aligned to workforce strategy equity commitments and organisational sustainability.
  • Contribute to the development review execution and continuous improvement of remunerationrelated policies frameworks tools and guidance ensuring clarity consistency and ease of use across the University.
  • Monitor sector regulatory and bestpractice developments impacting remuneration and job architecture provide advice and support their translation into UWAappropriate practice.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in remuneration job architecture benchmarking reward or classification work within a complex organisation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across People & Culture and with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience leveraging systems and digital solutions to improve efficiency transparency and data integrity.
  • Proven ability to operate as a trusted specialist applying critical thinking balancing operational delivery with strategic contribution.
  • Highly developed analytical capability with the ability to translate data and issues into clear insights.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Korn Ferry / Hay Grade Job Evaluation methodology remuneration benchmarking would be advantageous.
