Red Bend Catholic College invites suitably qualified and experienced Religious Education Teachers to join our team in a position of responsibility as the Faculty Coordinator.

Situated in the heart of the Lachlan Valley in Central West NSW Red Bend Catholic College is a co-educational Years 7-12 Catholic Day and Boarding school in the Marist tradition. The College educates over 860 students from rural regional and remote areas to provide an extensive Catholic education. Our core purpose is to make Jesus Christ known and loved through the rich experiences of College life which includes a clear focus on academic care wellbeing boarding co-curricular and sporting experiences.

The primary focus of the RE Faculty Coordinator is tooversee the strategic direction curriculum delivery and daily operations of the RE department. The position will also focus on the promotion of the all-embracing Marist Charism/Catholic tradition of the College including its ethos and religious dimension. This position of responsibility is a 3 year fixed-term contract position.

The successful candidate for the Coordinator position will be a Teacher. This position will be full-time permanent and the primary focus of the Teacher position is the education of the students through the creation of a positive and disciplined learning environment:

  • In interacting informally with students
