About the role:

Juniper Ella Williams located in Noranda is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our supportive residential aged care team on a part time basis.

In this role you will assess residents clinical needs coordinate care with healthcare professionals and implement and review person-centred care plans. You will also provide guidance to care staff and help ensure high standards of clinical care for residents.

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who is passionate about aged care and committed to delivering safe high-quality care.

The successful candidate will be required to work the following shifts:

Week 1&2: Thursday 7:00-15:00 Friday 7:00-15:00 Monday 7:00-15:00

Total: 45 hours per fortnight

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical assessments and respond to changes in resident health and wellbeing
• Develop implement and review person-centred care plans in partnership with residents and their families
• Administer medications and provide clinical treatments in line with professional standards
• Provide leadership mentoring and guidance to care staff
• Liaise with GPs allied health professionals and external providers to coordinate resident care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting
• Support AN-ACC assessments and ensure accurate clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards policies and best practice
• Participate in infection prevention risk management and quality improvement initiatives

Key Requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• 2 years experience as an RN in an aged care setting (or equivalent)
• Strong clinical assessment and care coordination skills
• Ability to guide staff in wound and diabetes management
• Sound understanding of medication systems
• Excellent communication teamwork and problem-solving skills
