The Memorial Hospital are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to join our fast paced dynamic and friendly award-winning Paediatric Department comprising 13 overnight beds within Leahurst Ward and 15 day beds within our Paediatric Day Stay Unit.

About the role:

• Work cohesively and with initiative in a multi-disciplinary team

• Deliver evidenced based and quality clinical nursing care

• Liaising with management key stakeholders and all staff

• Support management and embrace change and new initiatives positively

• Provide exceptional pre and post-operative nursing care in accordance with national standards

• Work effectively in a team environment while managing own time effectively in a fast paced setting

About you:

• Registered or Enrolled with AHPRA

• Interest and/or experience in developing Paediatric Nursing Skills

• Awareness of National Standards & Quality Improvement processes

• Current Working with Children Check

• Commitment to Quality Patient Care

• Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Works well independently and within a team

• Basic computer skills
