About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Regional HR Manager to join Programmeds Human Resources team.
In this pivotal role you will provide dedicated HR leadership and support to our Facility Management and Property Services divisions across Western Australia South Australia and the Northern Territory. Supporting a diverse portfolio of services our teams deliver everything from cleaning and catering at remote mining and energy sites integrated maintenance of critical infrastructure and grounds maintenance and landscaping through to commercial painting and a broad range of property and facilities management solutions for customers across Australia.
Partnering closely with operational leaders you will act as a trusted advisor delivering both strategic and operational HR support that strengthens workforce capability enhances employee engagement drives business performance and enables sustainable growth across a geographically dispersed and operationally diverse workforce.
This is a highly visible role where you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders across a geographically diverse portfolio. You will balance strategic workforce planning with hands-on HR delivery providing guidance on employee relations performance management workforce development change management and organisational effectiveness.
Working within a fast-paced operational environment you will be instrumental in helping leaders navigate people challenges build high-performing teams and create positive employee experiences across a diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operational and functional leaders to deliver aligned people strategies and practical HR solutions.
- Provide expert advice and coaching on employment legislation industrial relations employee relations and performance management.
- Support workforce planning initiatives to ensure the business attracts retains and develops talent.
- Lead and support organisational change restructuring and transformation initiatives.
- Partner with leaders to build leadership capability employee engagement and team effectiveness.
- Manage complex employee relations matters investigations and case management activities.
- Support remuneration talent succession and workforce development initiatives across the region.
- Analyse workforce trends and people metrics to provide insights and recommendations that support business outcomes.
- Drive compliance with employment legislation policies procedures and governance requirements.
- Collaborate with broader HR Team to deliver integrated HR solutions and initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities that enhance people processes systems and employee experience.
- Foster a positive inclusive and high-performance culture across the region.
About You
You are a trusted and commercially minded HR professional who thrives in partnering with operational leaders to solve complex people challenges and drive business performance. You bring a pragmatic solutions-focused approach balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to support both leaders and employees in a fast-paced operational environment.
While experience within facilities management property services remote mining infrastructure maintenance construction or other operational industries would be highly regarded we welcome applicants from diverse sectors who can demonstrate strong business partnering capability and a passion for making a meaningful impact through people.
You will bring:
- Experience in a HR Business Partner Regional HR Manager or similar senior HR role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation industrial relations and HR best practice.
- Experience supporting operational blue-collar multi-site or geographically dispersed workforces.
- Proven capability managing employee relations matters and providing pragmatic commercially focused advice.
- Strong stakeholder management communication and influencing skills.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical outcomes-focused HR delivery.
- Experience supporting organisational change workforce planning or business transformation initiatives.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Business Psychology or a related discipline OR equivalent professional experience.
