Government Role - Major Department In Geraldton
Local Workforce Hire is currently seeking an experienced and professional Customer Service & Reception Officer to support our Government client.
This temporary assignment is expected to commence on 1 July 2026 with an initial duration of 2 to 4 weeks with the potential for extension.
About the Role Working within a busy customer-facing environment you will be the first point of contact for visitors and customers while providing administrative and reception support within the Geraldton office.
This role requires someone who is professional approachable organised and capable of managing a high volume of customer enquiries while delivering exceptional customer service.
What We Offer
$35.00 per hour plus superannuation.
Monday to Friday roster.
8:15am to 4:30pm working hours.
Government office environment.
Supportive and professional team.
Temporary assignment with possible extension.
Immediate commencement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide reception and concierge services to customers and visitors.
Assist with customer enquiries both in person and over the phone.
Provide paperwork and administrative support.
Direct customers to the appropriate services and staff.
Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area.
Deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
About You To be successful in this role you will possess:
Previous reception administration or customer service experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service focus.
The ability to manage multiple enquiries and competing priorities.
High attention to detail and organisational skills.
Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
