Join Suncorps Recoveries and Settlements team where youll manage a portfolio of claims identify recovery opportunities negotiate fair settlement outcomes and deliver positive outcomes for customers and stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity to build capability in a specialised area strengthen your negotiation and decision-making skills and gain exposure to a broad range of claims and recovery scenarios.

What youll do

• Manage proactively progress and finalise a portfolio of claims across Recoveries and Settlements
• Identify recovery opportunities and negotiate fair commercially sound settlement outcomes
• Review claim information and estimates to make informed decisions within delegated authority
• Communicate with customers and third parties including managing complaints vulnerability and financial hardship with empathy
• Manage excess collection and maintain accurate claims records
• Balance customer needs with commercial outcomes while maintaining strong risk and compliance standards
• Manage competing priorities and meet customer commitments
• Contribute to team performance and continuous improvement

• Experience in claims insurance complaints recoveries settlements or a similar environment is highly regarded

Role details

• 12-month contract commencing 19 October 2026

• Monday to Friday 8:30am 5:00pm

• Melbourne Brisbane or Toowoomba

• Hybrid working with up to 4 days from home subject to leader discretion

• 5 weeks in-office training plus 2 weeks supported onboarding

• Limited WFH during training depending on business needs
