As we continue to grow an exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and self-driven Compliance Manager to join our Quality team.
As Compliance Manager you will oversee My Guardians compliance framework and work closely with senior leaders and operational teams to ensure our services consistently meet regulatory legislative and internal standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing managing and delivering the organisations internal compliance and audit program.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with Aged Care NDIS and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Conducting audits of operational practices policies procedures systems and documentation.
- Identifying compliance gaps and working with leaders to develop and monitor corrective actions.
- Preparing monthly compliance reporting and providing meaningful insights to senior management.
- Supporting and coordinating external regulatory audits reviews and accreditation activities.
- Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring new requirements are effectively implemented across the business.
- Managing the investigation reporting and resolution of incidents and complaints.
- Conducting root cause analysis and ensuring appropriate corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
- Developing and maintaining quality assurance and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Supporting organisational risk management and WHS compliance.
- Managing Workers Compensation return-to-work processes and monitoring business insurance compliance.
- Working closely with People & Culture to identify compliance training requirements and strengthen employee competency.
- Liaising with regulators auditors and other external stakeholders as required.
- Providing practical compliance advice and guidance to managers and senior leadership.
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical compliance knowledge with a practical and collaborative approach.
You will ideally have:
- Significant experience in compliance quality governance or risk within Aged Care and/or the NDIS sector.
- Strong working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards NDIS Practice Standards and relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing internal audit and compliance programs.
- Experience preparing organisations for regulatory audits accreditation or external reviews.
- Strong incident management investigation and root cause analysis capability.
- Experience interpreting regulatory change and translating requirements into operational processes.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to identify trends risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent written communication reporting and documentation skills.
- Confidence working with senior leaders and challenging practices where compliance risks are identified.
- Strong stakeholder management coaching and influencing skills.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in law business governance risk management quality or a related discipline will be highly regarded. However substantial practical experience within a complex Aged Care or NDIS compliance environment will also be considered.
