Job Summary

Property & Facilities Coordinator
Scone
Permanent Full-Time (35 hours per week)


The role:
Help shape the future of some of the Upper Hunters most important community assets.

As the Property & Facilities Coordinator youll leadthe operational management maintenance and continuous improvement of Councilsdiverse property portfolio including the Scone Regional Livestock SellingCentre White Park Equine Facility and Scone Memorial Airport. You will alsomanage Council-owned properties and Crown Land portfolios. Youll ensure thesefacilities remain safe compliant and financially sustainable while deliveringquality experiences for the community businesses and visitors.

Youll lead a small team coordinate contractors overseemaintenance and capital works support major events build strong stakeholderrelationships and help deliver continuous improvements across Councilsfacilities.

What we need from you:
- Demonstrated experience in property facilities or operations management including coordinating day-to-day operations maintenance programs contractors and service delivery.
- Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate teams manage competing priorities and foster positive workplace culture.
- Strong knowledge of asset maintenance Work Health and Safety biosecurity and legislative compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with contractors tenants community groups event organisers and other stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational communication and customer service skills with experience preparing reports and managing budgets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and asset or facility management systems.
- Current unrestricted Driver Licence and White Card (General Construction Induction).

Highly Regarded:
- Qualifications in property asset or event management (or a related discipline).
- Knowledge of Local Government property management Crown Land legislation and leasing processes.
- Experience within livestock equine or rural operations.
- Understanding of saleyard operations aviation facilities or Work Health and Safety management.
