Project Support Officer

We are seeking a proactive Projects Support Officer to join our team supporting the day-to-day operations and projects for project managers in our Narre Warren office.  

As a Project Support Officer you will be a high level of administrative support to Business and Service Line teams across the Project Lifecycle working particularly closely with Project Managers and Business/Service Line leaders to deliver successful projects.

Your main duties will include:

• Support Project Managers (PMs) with project costs budget and margins during the proposal and project stages
• Support with collations and preparation of tender and bid documents
• Maintain registers and CRM systems ensuring go/no-go documentation is recorded correctly
• Support PMs with invoice and debtor follow up
• Plan and schedule project activities
• Manage all aspects of supplier and subcontractor interactions
• Reporting timesheets QA and compliance expense claims
• Provide general administrative support as required

Qualifications :

To be successful in this opportunity you will ideally have demonstrated experience in a similar role supporting technical electrical distribution or energy addition you will also have:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a professional services environment
• Highly developed organisation and prioritisation skills
• A courteous polite respectful and professional manner
• Able to work proactively with minimal direction
• Excellent personal presentation and demeanour
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word Excel PowerPoint & Outlook) are essential
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Positive attitude and solution oriented
• Enjoy working with others and building effective relationships
