Youll be working on some of the most high-profile water infrastructure projects in the industry helping to secure Water for Life for generations to come.

This opportunity is a maximum term contract until October 2027.

About Your Opportunity

As Project Officer Governance you will provide high-level governance and administrative support across Seqwaters Infrastructure Planning and Capital Delivery portfolio supporting project delivery outcomes in a fast-paced environment where confidentiality organisation and communication skills are essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate governance meetings including scheduling stakeholder engagement agendas minutes and action tracking.
  • Prepare review and distribute governance papers reports and presentations to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain governance systems processes and tools to ensure compliance and effective tracking of project activities.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of governance submissions and project gateway deliverables to ensure standards are met.
  • Monitor and report on committee decisions actions and approvals driving outcomes through to completion.
  • Partner with project teams and stakeholders to identify risks resolve issues and continuously improve governance processes and performance.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • A suitable combination of comprehensive experience in administration and/or executive personal assistant skills.
  • Demonstrated experience providing high level administrative support in a project environment
  • Knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of Seqwaters Project Gateway processes and systems.
  • An understanding of the general principles surrounding project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing high levels of trust integrity and responsibility in supporting the work of Project Managers and other internal stakeholders throughout the business.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining effective office systems and procedures.

This position will be offered on contract with an attractive salary and 12.75% superannuation.
