About the role:
- Support planning scheduling and execution of mechanical construction activities
- Translate project specs permits and drawings into work packs and execution plans
- Monitor site progress identify and resolve technical issues
- Liaise with engineers site supervisors and contractors to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and report on milestones and variations
- Assist with technical documentation risk assessments and change management
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to project meetings
- Implement and manage quality assurance processes
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years experience in mechanical project engineering within mining industrial SMP or construction environments
- Experience delivering mechanical installation maintenance or shutdown projects
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings specifications and construction documentation
- Strong site-based experience and understanding of safety quality and construction compliance requirements
- Excellent communication planning and coordination skills
- Confident working independently in remote locations on rostered projects
- Familiarity with MS Project and Excel
- Familiarity with ITPs FICs ITRs and other quality assurance documentation
- Must be able to pass regular drug & alcohol testing and site medical requirements
- Must be a team player and communicate effectively with tradesmen with different backgrounds and skillsets
