Project Engineer - Mechanical Electrical and Fire Services

The Opportunity
Coordinate mechanical electrical plumbing and fire services delivery on a major Sydney station construction project. This site-based position links designers specialist contractors and delivery partners from installation through commissioning and systems integration.
Your Responsibilities
Oversee services installation testing and commissioning across station structures underground areas services buildings and platforms.
Review shop drawings and coordinate BIM models to identify clashes and construction issues early.
Manage specialist contractors delivering HVAC power hydraulics fire protection and control systems.
Develop inspection plans test packs and compliance records against transport requirements and Australian standards.
Resolve interfaces with structural civil architectural and rail systems teams while protecting critical programme milestones.
Review safe work methods and risk assessments and reinforce site WHS practices.
Requirements
Skills Education and Requirements
A Mechanical Electrical or Building Services Engineering bachelor degree or equivalent tertiary/trade credentials supported by extensive site engineering experience.
At least four years as a MEP or services engineer on major buildings or infrastructure including stations underground structures data centres or complex towers.
Knowledge of NCC/BCA AS/NZS standards and relevant NSW transport technical specifications.
Practical Navisworks Revit or other BIM capability and construction management platform experience.
Strong contractor management negotiation conflict resolution and stakeholder communication.
Current entitlement to live and work in the role location.
