OPPORTUNITY
With a number of exciting projects on the horizon we are currently seeking Project Engineers to join our growing team. These opportunities are based in the Pilbara on a FIFO 2:1 / 8:6 roster with a further project located 300 km north of Perth on a DIDO basis.
Reporting to the Project Manager you will be a key player in our success and an integral part of our close-knit project team. Previous experience on MRWA and Mining Civil works would be highly advantageous.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Relevant qualification in civil engineering or construction management
- Minimum 5 years experience in the civil construction industry (MRWA experience preferred)
- Sound knowledge and understanding of MRWA standards and specifications
- Valid drivers licence
- Construction induction Card
- Ability to pass a National Police Check
- High level of computer literacy: Word Excel Outlook and MS Project
- Excellent safety awareness work ethic and communication skills
- Flexible and understanding of regional work rosters and project requirements
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with clients fellow workers management and field crews
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting Project Manager with project reporting
- Liaising with Managers Supervisors subcontractors clients and relevant authorities onsite
- Providing site specific engineering support
- Compilation of Quality Assurance documentation (ITPs and MDR)
- Undertake visual inspections arrange testing and reporting
- Engagement of subcontractors and procurement of materials
- Communication and management of subcontractors and suppliers
- Develop & distribute Subcontractor RFQ packages for project scope
