Opal Packaging is seeking 8 Production Workers to join our converting cardboard manufacturing operation in Rocklea Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a leading Australian packaging manufacturer with comprehensive training provided and long-term career opportunities available.

About the Role

Working as part of our production team you will support the manufacture and conversion of corrugated cardboard packaging products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Day Shift Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am 2:00pm
• Overtime available upon successful completion of training and competency sign-off

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring converting machinery
• Feeding and handling cardboard materials
• Packing and palletising finished products
• Completing quality checks and inspections
• Following safe work procedures and site standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Working collaboratively to achieve production targets

• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Have good communication skills
• Are committed to workplace safety and quality standards
• Can perform repetitive manual handling tasks and stand for extended periods

Highly Regarded but Not Essential

• Previous manufacturing or production experience
• Experience operating machinery
• Experience in packaging warehousing or production environments
• Forklift licence

Full training will be provided for successful candidates.
