What Youll Be Doing
Procurement & Purchasing
- Supporting the purchasing and procurement teams with day-to-day administration
- Managing purchase orders from creation through to completion
- Monitoring overdue purchase orders and ensuring goods and services are received on time
- Proactively expediting supplier deliveries and resolving purchasing issues before they impact operations
- Managing the purchasing inbox and telephone enquiries
Vendor Management
- Coordinating vendor onboarding and ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant
- Maintaining accurate vendor records and ensuring ongoing system compliance
- Building positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Systems & Data
- Maintaining system data and parts catalogues
- Keeping contract management systems accurate and up to date
- Ensuring procurement information is current compliant and reliable
Finance Support
- Working closely with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Assisting with the smooth Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process
- Helping ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time
- Minimum 3 years experience in administration
- Completion of Year 12 equivalent secondary education
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritise competing workloads
- High attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems
Highly Regarded
- Experience within procurement or purchasing
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP Oracle or JDE
- Certificate in Business Commerce or Supply Chain
