Our Rare Earths deposit in Mt Weld Western Australia is acknowledged as one of the highest-grade Rare Earths mine in the world so youre joining a very unique team! As a team member you will be contributing to the sustainable supply of rare earths metals which are used in oil & gas electric vehicles and wind turbines.
Lynas Rare Earths is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our Mt Weld Production team. This is a FIFO position from Perth to our Mt Weld Operations on an 8/6 roster (days and nights).
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for operating designated sections of the plant safely and efficiently while supporting production targets and maintaining housekeeping standards.
As a highly valued member of the Lynas Rare Earths team you will:
- Monitor plant performance and report operational issues
- Complete pre-start checks on equipment and machinery
- Identify and report hazards and incidents
- Maintain safe and clean work areas
- Work collaboratively within the production team
- Attend required training and follow site safety procedures
What you will bring to the team:
- Previous experience as a Process Technician
- Grinding Flotation and Product Filtration experience highly regarded
- C Class WA Manual Drivers Licence and Forklift Ticket required
- Strong communication teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Reliable with a strong commitment to safety
