Role Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards reports and data visualisations to support business and operational decision-making
- Translate business requirements and reporting needs into effective Power BI solutions and data models
- Develop and optimise semantic models using Power BI DAX and Power Query
- Integrate data from multiple sources including databases APIs Excel SharePoint and cloud-based platforms
- Collaborate with business analysts data engineers and stakeholders to define reporting requirements and KPIs
- Ensure dashboards and reports are accurate performant user-friendly and aligned with reporting standards
- Implement appropriate data security including role-based access and row-level security
- Troubleshoot data refresh performance and reporting issues
- Support deployment maintenance and ongoing enhancement of Power BI solutions
- Contribute to reporting standards reusable components documentation and continuous improvement of BI practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 35 years experience in Power BI development Business Intelligence data analytics or similar roles
- Strong hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
- Strong proficiency in DAX Power Query and data modelling
- Solid SQL skills for data extraction transformation analysis and validation
- Experience integrating Power BI with multiple structured data sources
- Good understanding of dimensional modelling relationships measures KPIs and reporting best practices
- Experience with Power BI Service including workspaces scheduled refreshes gateways access management and deployment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure data services such as Azure SQL Data Factory Synapse or Databricks is desirable
- Experience implementing row-level security and appropriate data governance controls
- Strong analytical problem-solving stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working within Agile or technology delivery environments
Required Skills:
Key duties and responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Storage Engineer who has experience working in large complex ICT environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying configuring managing and tuning the departments storage systems at physical and virtual layers. The Senior Storage Engineer will also be responsible to deploy configure and manage Storage Area Network Switches as required. The successful candidate should have knowledge of new and emerging technologies to shape the future direction of the departments storage and data platforms. The role requires producing design documents build documents operations document handover and sharing of knowledge with other team members and mentoring junior team members. Essential criteria experience and knowledge in the design administration tuning and troubleshooting of one or more of the following storage systems: HPE 3PAR Primera Alletra Storage Systems NetApp E-Series Dell Data Domain Brocade Fabric Switches SANnav Scality Artesca to produce design build and operations documents for processes and procedures. communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with skilled technical people including making presentations to staff and stakeholders and coaching staff. / Knowledge of following technology: Veeam Backup and Replication
