We are currently seeking an energetic motivated and enthusiastic Pipeline Technician on a full-time permanent basis to join our Team. Reporting to the National Operations Manager the purpose of the role is to safely and efficiently execute field services works for Verbrecs operated pipelines and external clients alike. These services include: Pipeline Operation & Maintenance Electrical works (LV) Cathodic Protection PLC Fault finding Non Fiscal equipment calibrations Right of way Surveys Water Bath Heater maintenance vessel inspections Regulator Maintenance:
- To the highest level of safety environment community & stakeholder requirements.
- To meet agreed quality operability schedule and cost targets; and
- In strict accordance with the relevant statutory & regulatory guidelines.
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally have (Electrical Technician)
- Electrical Work License (Electrical Fitter / Electrical Mechanic)
- An equivalent trade certificate Cert III in Electro Technology
- Experience within the gas industry will be highly regarded specifically in the areas of Electrical instrumentation PLC Water Bath Heaters and EEHA.
- Experience within the gas industry be highly regarded specifically in the areas of pipeline inspection and maintenance.
- A safety-first approach.
- Experience working in remote areas.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- A high level of mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop on a diverse range of skills.
- Good communications skills both written and oral.
- Sound computer skills.
- Experience with communicating with landowners and occupiers.
