Helping Hands Mount Archer is seeking an inspiring and motivated OSHC Coordinator to join our growing Helping Hands service. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role where youll shape culture drive quality and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and your team.
This is a permanent part-time role (34.5 hours per week) working across split shifts Monday to Friday including 5 hours of dedicated noncontact administrative time to support your success.
Service hours include:
- Rise Then Shine: 6:30am 8:45am
- Stay and Play: 2:30pm 6:00pm
- School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am 6:00pm

About Helping Hands Mount Archer
Helping Hands Mount Archer is a well-established roll-in roll-out service with an exclusive office kitchen and outdoor space including beautiful OSHC gardens and access to the onsite oval. The service has a stable permanent team with ISS currently in place and recently achieved Meeting in its A&R. Supporting around 4560 children in the afternoon and approximately 30 in the morning its a welcoming service with plenty of space for children to learn play and have fun.
About your new role
As a Coordinator youll be leading a team of passionate Educators and overseeing an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about leadership:
- Design and lead a vibrant childcentred program filled with engaging experiences such as STEM sport cooking arts and crafts.
- Take ownership of rosters daily operations compliance and administration with time allocated to do this well.
- Build a positive inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported motivated and proud of the program they deliver.
- Partner with families the school community and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive.
- Be supported by experienced Regional Managers and a dedicated Support Office so youre never doing it alone.

Who are we looking for
If you have a passion for supporting children wed love to hear from you! Heres what were looking for:
- Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow.
- Strong communication skillsyoull be leading by example!
- A team player who inspires others and encourages growth.
- You have (or are willing to obtain) a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- Australian work rights.
