About the project

Working in a strategic Alliance with Thiess and Harmony you will form part of a collaborative team driven by shared objectives and values to deliver operational excellence at the Eva Copper Mine Project.

The Alliance will set new benchmarks for safe sustainable and efficient copper development supported by commitments to local employment and procurement new-to-industry and Indigenous workforce development and meaningful engagement in the local community.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of defining building and operating a major mining operation.

The Eva Copper Mine Project is located on the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People in North West Queensland approximately 75 km north-west of Cloncurry and about 95 km north-east of Mount Isa.

The Project is an iron-oxide copper-gold resource featuring multiple open pits and is poised to become the largest greenfield copper mine in Queensland.

While this role forms part of the Eva Copper Alliance employment will be ongoing with Thiess with recruitment and employment managed by Thiess.

The opportunity

We are building a high-performing mining team and are seeking experienced Multi Skilled Production Operators to join us on the landmark Eva Copper Project in Queensland. If youre a skilled operator with experience on Heavy Earth Moving equipmentthis is your opportunity to play a key role in bringing a major new mining operation to life.

Roster: 2:2 Location: Eva Copper QLD Employment Type: Fulltime

As the Multi Skilled operator you will have operated:

• Truck Operators (CAT 789)
• Multi Skilled Operators
• Excavator Operators (Hitachi 5600 or equivalent)
• Dozers Operators (D10 D11)
• Loaders Operators
• Grader Operators (18M)
• Watercart Operators(CAT 777)

About you

• Minimum of 1 year of prior working experience operating Haul Trucks Dozers Graders Loaders or Excavators (600T) in a mining environment
• SSE signed training transcripts
• Current Drivers Licence
• A commitment to a positive safety culture
• A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast paced mining environment
