We act for the RoleIn this role you will lead the day-to-day coordination of the Communities for Children program ensuring effective delivery across diverse locations and stakeholders. You will work closely with community partners to deliver high-quality culturally safe and responsive to day you will beLeading the ongoing coordination and implementationof the CfC program across Palmerston and Tiwi IslandsProviding day-to-day support to subcontractors ensuring delivery aligns with program objectives funding requirements and community needsManaging program finances monitoring budgets and supporting delivery within funding agreementsOverseeing reporting data collection monitoring and evaluationto demonstrate impact and inform continuous improvementEnsuring strong safeguarding practicesand compliance with Red Cross policies and relevant legislationBuilding and maintaining effective relationships with community members stakeholders and service providersIdentifying opportunities to strengthen program delivery improve systems and reduce riskWhat you will bringSound experience in the implementation coordination and delivery of volunteer led programs/projectsExperience working with volunteers/community membersExperience in delivering project/program outcomesAbility to set priorities plan and organise own work and that other staff and/or volunteers as requiredSound discipline knowledge working within community-based programs gained through experience training or educationA current valid Ochre Card or the ability to obtain one is a mandatory requirement of this roleBenefits that act for you while you act for humanityWork flexibility: Australian Red Cross operates under a hybrid working model which includes two days on-site and three days from home proving you more work/life balanceFinancial wellbeing: In addition to your salary you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
