Your Opportunity:

As a qualified Occupational Therapist working in a community settingyou will be joining a large and collaborative multidisciplinary team providing personalised treatments.

In the role you will utilise your Occupational Therapist skills to provide clinical and therapeutic interventions that support positive health and wellbeing outcomes for customers. You will be supported by clinical treatment pathways that provides optimal rehabilitation and goal achievement for our consumers.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• The consumers you will be seeing in the community are referred through the following government funded models Home Care Packages Short Term Restorative Care Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Private funding.
• Provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendation to support consumer activities of daily living mobility and transfers falls risk and prevention equipment requirements pressure area care and skin integrity management arthritic joint management and pain management.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to the needs of Plena and community-based providers to work within the scope of the Occupational Therapy profession.

• A bachelors degree
• Current AHPRA registration
• Australian working rights
