Key duties and responsibilities
.Net Developers will be responsible for but not limited to:
Participating in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to develop and enhance a C# based n-tier enterprise software and associated documentation in accordance with AEC Standards. Developing automated application build and deployment scripts (Framework and ) and the broader Microsoft technology stack. Following the Agile Methodology for software development using tools such as Azure DevOps. Liaising with technical and business area staff to facilitate the rapid resolution of issues and/or faults within fielded production. Providing analysis on complex issues and contributing to the management preparation and coordination of policy formulation and/or project management. Developing and supporting key internal and external relationships including managing stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals and represent the agency by promoting its interests in various forums.
Providing accurate specialist advice guidance and reporting on team functional responsibilities. Making and communicating decisions using good judgement expertise and knowledge governed by legislation regulations best practice principles or relevant operating instructions and procedures. Contributing to doctrine election preparation and delivery activities in accordance with the election readiness framework according to individual accountabilities and responsibilities. Perform additional responsibilities as required and directed by the relevant Director/Team Leader or delegate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying configuring managing and tuning the departments storage systems at physical and virtual layers. The Senior Storage Engineer will also be responsible to deploy configure and manage Storage Area Network Switches as required. The successful candidate should have knowledge of new and emerging technologies to shape the future direction of the departments storage and data platforms. The role requires producing design documents build documents operations document handover and sharing of knowledge with other team members and mentoring junior team members. Essential criteria experience and knowledge in the design administration tuning and troubleshooting of one or more of the following storage systems: HPE 3PAR Primera Alletra Storage Systems NetApp E-Series Dell Data Domain Brocade Fabric Switches SANnav Scality Artesca to produce design build and operations documents for processes and procedures. communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with skilled technical people including making presentations to staff and stakeholders and coaching staff. / Knowledge of following technology: Veeam Backup and Replication
