About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations across our Hallam and Boronia sites with a primary focus on our expanding Hallam facility.


As a Maintenance Technician you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability safety and performance of our manufacturing equipment facilities and infrastructure. You will be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance activities while supporting the continued setup and development of operations at our Hallam site. Initial training will be conducted at our Boronia site to ensure a smooth transition into the role


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant equipment machinery and facilities.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
  • Minimise production downtime through effective troubleshooting and response.
  • Support equipment installations relocations and commissioning activities.
  • Assist with the ongoing development and operation of the Hallam facility.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records service reports and work orders.

Qualification and experience

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Electrical or a related discipline.
  • Experience with equipment installation site setup or commissioning activities.
  • Implemented or supported implementation of 5S in a worksite.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems such as D365.
  • Experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing production or industrial environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Experience maintaining plant equipment and facility infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple sites.
  • Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
