We operate a modern citrus packing facility and this year have commissioned a brand new TOMRA packing line including the new LucAI vision grading technology robotic palletizers and Gossamer automated packing equipment.

We are seeking a practical hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our operation runs safely efficiently and reliably.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician who enjoys solving problems improving equipment reliability and working in a fast-paced agricultural production environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressing citrus business where your work directly impacts production efficiency fruit quality and customer satisfaction.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Maintaining grading packing palletising and conveyor equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment faults
  • Completing preventative maintenance activities
  • Supporting production during peak citrus season
  • Assisting with installation and improvement projects
  • Maintaining maintenance records and schedules
  • Working safely in a food production environment

What Were Looking For

  • Trade qualified (Electrical or Mechatronic will be highly regarded) with practical maintenance experience.
  • This role will require you to be on the tools and work across a range of equipment and functions. Broad maintenance experience will be very highly regarded.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
  • Experience in manufacturing food processing packing sheds or industrial operations
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
  • Forklift welding electrical fabrication or automation experience highly regarded
  • Flexibility to respond to breakdowns and support production in peak periods this may include overtime hours occasional weekends and weekday roster flexibility.
