Your new role

This position performs general maintenance repairs various manual tasks and grounds maintenance across Carpentaria owned leased and managed properties.

The ideal candidate

• Experience in various repairs and maintenance tasks including basic carpentry plumbing and grounds maintenance
• Prior experience in a similar role or background in a relevant trade
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and to a high standard with limited supervision
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality work
• Familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in maintenance general repairs and grounds maintenance
• The capacity to undertake manual tasks including heavy lifting and working outdoors for extended periods of time
• Sound level of computer literacy with the ability to confidently utilise email and other electronic applications such as maintenance service request systems
• Current Ochre Card Criminal History Check NDIS Worker Screening Clearance NDIS Worker Orientation First Aid & CPR Certificate and NT Driver Licence.
