- Reviewing drafting and negotiating customer contracts procurement agreements tenders consultancy agreements software licences sponsorship agreements leases and other commercial agreements as required by the business.
- Providing practical legal advice across commercial competition and consumer intellectual property corporate and property matters.
- Developing and maintaining standard contracts templates and legal resources.
- Assisting with dispute resolution and litigation matters.
- Delivering guidance and training to stakeholders across the business.
- Supporting company secretarial and governance activities including Board and Committee administration regulatory lodgments and corporate compliance requirements.
- A Bachelor of Laws and admission to practice in Australia.
- Experience working in-house on secondment or within a commercial legal practice.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance business priorities and legal risk.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive solutions-focused approach and sound judgement when working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting governance or company secretarial functions will be highly regarded. Experience within telecommunications or an ASX-listed organisation is advantageous but not essential.
