St Columbas College isseekingdedicated and compassionateLearning Support Officers (LSO)to join our Learning Diversity team. This role plays a vital part in supporting our students to thrive academicallysociallyand emotionally within an inclusive Catholic learning environment. This is a fixed term (with the possibility of ongoing)part timepositionuntil the end of 2026working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm.
As a Learning SupportOfficeryou will:
Work collaboratively with teachers to support students with diverse learning needs across Years 712.
Provide in-classassistance small-groupsupportand individualised learning adjustments.
Assistwith the implementation of Personalised Learning Plans andevidence-based interventions.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a genuine commitment to supporting young people with diverse learning needs
Strong communicationteamworkand relationship-building skills
Able to follow teacher direction while working proactively and independently
Experience in learning support youth work educationsupportor similar fields (desirable)
Certificate III or IV in Education Support (advantageousbut not essential)
