What youll do

  • Deliver and exceed sales targets through thoughtful in-person and virtual engagement combining strong relationship-building with consultative data-driven recommendations.
  • Shape long-term multi-year plans and learning agendas for your customers leveraging deep Measurement and Performance knowledge to guide their investment decisions.
  • Operate 612 months ahead anticipating customer needs and surfacing insights roadmaps and pitches in line with their annual and quarterly planning cadences.
  • Balance long-range strategy with short-term execution moving seamlessly between building durable strategic programs and delivering timely responses to near-term briefs.
  • Design and lead Go-to-Market plans with Retail Media teams at your retailers ensuring sales and product teams are enabled to pitch plan and execute impactful Pinterest activity.
  • Partner closely with the Pinterest CPG team to create aligned grocery retail media strategies driving shared success and a coherent go-to-market approach across partners.
  • Represent Pinterest with credibility and integrity acting as a trusted advisor to clients and their media agencies and at times as a market lead in partnership with Pinterest Agency Leads on key events and initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional experts (e.g. Measurement Creative Strategy Sales Ops Product) to design solutions that meet diverse client needs and deliver against agreed goals.
  • Role-model inclusive respectful ways of working contributing to a team culture that values different backgrounds perspectives and working styles.
  • Drive Client Growth with AI Insights:Leverage AI-powered analytics to identify strategic opportunities forecast trends and guide clients toward data-backed growth strategies on Pinterest.

What were looking for

  • 10 years of experience in sales digital media and/or social platforms with a track record of success in complex multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Established local market network across advertisers agencies and/or retailers with the ability to open doors and deepen senior relationships.
  • Strong understanding of ad platforms such as Pinterest Ads Manager or similar (e.g. Meta Google retail media platforms) including campaign planning and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience partnering with brands and agencies ideally across both brand and performance objectives.
  • Experience in Retail working directly with retailers and/or retail media partners; retail media experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and generate incremental revenue through strategic account planning and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Deep Measurement literacy including how to plan test and demonstrate effective media performance in line with each customers Measurement System of Truth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
  • Ability to influence executive-level decision makers owning and nurturing C-suite and senior relationships over time.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Business or equivalent practical experience.

  • Expertise in AI-Driven Analytics: Strong ability to leverage AI-powered analytics platforms to uncover strategic insights identify growth opportunities and inform data-driven client strategies.

In-Office Requirement Statement

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means were not always working in an office but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 2 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from our Sydney office.
