Looking for a role where you can lead landscape maintenance operations while still staying connected to the work on site
HL Landscapes is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee landscape maintenance works across multiple civil and infrastructure projects throughout South East Queensland.
This role combines hands-on field leadership with operational management making it ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating teams managing sites and maintaining strong client relationships while still being actively involved on the ground.
With a strong pipeline of infrastructure projects secured for the coming years this is an excellent opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a growing company.

- Mix of day works and occasional night works depending on project requirements

Opportunity to play a key role in shaping maintenance operations within the business.
What Youll Be Doing:
Leading and coordinating landscape maintenance operations across multiple project sites:
- Overseeing maintenance crews while remaining hands-on where required (approx. 70%)
- Planning weekly staff allocations and coordinating maintenance schedules
- Managing site resources including labour materials and equipment
- Ensuring all works meet safety standards SWMS and company procedures
- Maintaining strong client communication and providing project updates
- Conducting site inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Monitoring budgets and helping maintain project profitability
- Completing site reports maintenance documentation and operational reporting
- Supporting teams on site where required to ensure works are delivered efficiently
Typical works include:
- Civil landscape maintenance
- Infrastructure corridor maintenance
- Planting mowing brush cutting spraying and landscape upkeep
Requirements
What You Bring:
Strong experience in commercial or civil landscape maintenance
Previous experience in a supervisory or operations management role
- Ability to lead teams while remaining practical and hands-on
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills
- Confident communication with crews clients and project managers
- Understanding of safety compliance and SWMS requirements
- White Card and manual drivers licence
- MR licence advantageous
Experience operating maintenance equipment such as:
- Zero-turn mowers
- Brush cutters
- Sprayers
- General landscape maintenance equipment
