Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units our Technical Advisory and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer a major service partner to Defence. Together we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.
We currently have an opportunity for an Integrated Logistics Support Manager in Canberra to work on Defence logistics sustainment and transition-to-service projects.
What Youll Do
These roles offer a broad scope with key role responsibilities including:
- Lead the planning coordination and delivery of Integrated Logistics Support activities across the TTAM Project capability lifecycle.
- Develop review and maintain ILS artefacts supportability products logistics support analysis outputs and sustainment documentation.
- Provide specialist logistics and sustainment advice to support capability readiness transition-to-service and long-term sustainment outcomes.
- Work closely with project engineering acquisition and sustainment stakeholders to support governance risk management reporting and project delivery activities.
- Coordinate across Defence organisations industry partners and external stakeholders to resolve logistics issues and support successful project outcomes
What Youll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in Defence Integrated Logistics Support logistics management sustainment management or a related Defence project environment.
- Experience developing reviewing and managing Defence ILS documentation artefacts and logistics support analysis products.
- Strong understanding of Defence acquisition sustainment technical certification acceptance and transition-to-service processes.
- Proven ability to analyse complex logistics and sustainment issues provide practical recommendations and manage competing priorities independently.
- Strong stakeholder engagement communication and relationship management skills with experience working across Defence industry and external stakeholder groups.
Due to the nature of the work the successful applicant must be an Australian citizen and hold and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance as required by the some cases compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) may also be required.
