The opportunity

aXcelerate is expanding beyond our core vocational education and RTO compliance roots into an exciting new frontier: Workforce Competency Management.

Our Skills product helps large employers track capability licensing and verification obligations across distributed often geographically dispersed workforces and its one of the fastest-growing priorities in our business.

Were looking for an Implementation Consultant (Enterprise) to join our delivery team as the product subject matter expert for Skills. This is a genuine ground-floor opportunity to shape how a growth product gets implemented working alongside Project Managers Business Analysts and Solutions Consultants to turn solution design into a working platform and to build the customers own capability to run it once we step back.

Key Responsibilities

What a day in an Implementation Consultant Enterprises life would look like at aXcelerate

As an Implementation Consultant Enterprise your day is highly dynamic and customer-focused centred on our largest and most complex accounts. Youll primarily be:

  • Be the product authority. Build deep expertise in Skills competency frameworks assessment and verification position and role mapping hierarchies permissions and reporting and become the delivery teams go-to on what the platform can (and cant) do.
  • Youll also spot product gaps in the field and feed them back to Product with the context needed to act on them.
  • Configure and deliver. Turn solution designs into working configuration scoped to each Statement of Work from full build-outs to coaching customer admins to self-serve. Test rigorously against acceptance criteria before UAT and document your decisions so the build stays maintainable long after youve moved on.
  • Train and enable. Design and deliver role-based training for everyone from frontline workers to executives. Build quick reference guides train-the-trainer programs and facilitate workshops remotely and on site adjusting your pitch for the room.
  • Be a trusted advisor. Recommend what will actually work even when that means pushing back on whats been asked for. Support UAT by triaging whether an issue is configuration product defect or user misunderstanding. Contribute to status reporting and risk conversations and manage a clean handover to Customer Success at go-live.
  • Improve how we work. Contribute reusable templates and delivery assets that make the next engagement faster and help uplift your colleagues product knowledge along the way.

About You

Were looking for a motivated and customer-focussed professional with a passion for helping large complex organisations succeed.

  • 3 years in a customer-facing implementation consulting or systems delivery role SaaS experience highly regarded
  • Proven ability to independently configure complex SaaS platforms: admin interfaces business rules permissions workflow logic
  • Strong facilitation and training experience with adult learners across seniority and technical confidence levels
  • Sharp requirements analysis and business process mapping skills
  • Excellent written communication documentation is a genuine deliverable in this role not an afterthought
  • The confidence to hold your ground with senior stakeholders and push back constructively
  • Comfort managing multiple concurrent projects with shifting scope
  • Willingness to travel domestically for onsite delivery
  • Background in workforce competency management capability frameworks skills taxonomies or compliance-driven training (nice to have)
  • Exposure to formal project delivery methodologies (nice to have)
  • Prior experience with aXcelerate or a comparable platform (nice to have)
