Job Summary
As a General Plumber youll handle a variety of installation maintenance and repair works on water gas and drainage systems - ensuring all jobs are completed safely efficiently and in compliance with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3500) and WHS regulations.
- Plumbing installation maintenance and repair
- Repair burst pipes and blocked drains
- Service and replace taps toilets traps and fixtures
- Install and maintain electric and solar hot-water systems
- Install gutters downpipes and roof flashings
- Read and interpret plumbing plans and specifications
- Complete job reports and update digital systems such as Simpro
- Maintain company vehicles tools and equipment
- Follow WHS procedures and participate in toolbox meetings
Requirements
Trade Certificate III in Plumbing / qualified tradesman licence Drainer Certificate Valid Manual Drivers Licence Current First Aid Certificate Strong knowledge of plumbing tools equipment and materials Knowledge of Australian plumbing codes and standards especially AS/NZS 3500 Strong written and spoken English Ability to prepare accurate work records and detailed reports Ability to read and understand job descriptions plans and site documentation Clean police record Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Safety-conscious and customer-focused Ability to work independently and in a team

Required Skills:
Previous experience as a Glazier. Strong technical and installation skills. Ability to read measurements and technical drawings. Skills Assessment is mandatory for offshore candidates. English Assessment is mandatory for offshore candidates. Offshore candidates must be fully paper-ready.
