Graduate Civil Engineer

The role will involve supporting the planning design coordination and delivery of civil engineering solutions across a variety of sectors including:

• Civil and infrastructure projects for the Department of Defence

• Transport infrastructure projects including roads and rail

• Urban and industrial civil works associated with buildings roadworks landscape modifications environmental protection measures and temporary works

• Surface water and piped drainage systems

• Water and wastewater infrastructure projects

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to develop theirexpertiseacross a broad range of civil engineering disciplines while working within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Who are you

The Idealcandidatewill have1-2 yearsexperienceworking withinan engineer consultancyand be able to contribute effectively to the planning design and delivery of civil engineering projects. The role requires a proactive approachstrong communicationskills and the ability to work both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working independently under the direction of a Project Manager to support the planning design and execution of civil engineering projects.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes.

• Using design tools to support the efficient production of technical deliverables (MicroStation/CAD experience preferred but not essential).

• Preparing reports contract documents and technical specifications.

• Liaising with Project Managers and/or clients to understand project requirements and provide regular project updates.

• Demonstratingan appropriate balanceof practicality and innovation in engineering solutions.

• Activelyparticipatingin the companys quality and Health Safety & Environment (HSE) programs.
