About the role
Our Perth-based design team is looking to bring on Geotechnical Engineers with design experience in a consultancy setting. You would be working on projects ranging from inner city buildings and infrastructure to remote mine sites. We are open to speaking with candidates with anywhere from 3 to 12 years of experience.
Responsibilities
Working with the technical team to develop provide and promote design solutions options and initiatives to meet client needs
Work with the senior technical team to contribute to detailed designs for projects ranging from building foundations and temporary works to large infrastructure and mining or energy projects
Undertake technical and non-technical tasks and take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of your work
Ensure that the projects are completed on time within budget and to the desired quality standards
Maintaining good relationships with existing clients and working with the client relations/business development team to target new opportunities
What Youll Need
Qualified Geotechnical/Civil Engineer with minimum 3 years of experience working in a geotechnical consulting environment
Good analytical skills and prior knowledge of geotechnical design software will be viewed favourably (Plaxis Rocscience Slide RSPile Settle3 LimitState Geo etc.)
Have proven experience when it comes to design delivery of complex projects
Some experience with delivering geotechnical site investigations and interpretive reporting and/or prior field based geotechnical experience
Exceptional organisation and communication skills both verbal and written
A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is a must
Current Australian drivers license
The ability to travel for a combination of office-based and field-based work
