We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Diploma Educator to join our team at Mini Masterminds Box Hill (84-place centre).

About the Role

As a Diploma Educator you will work collaboratively with your team to deliver engaging play-based learning experiences that support each childs learning development and wellbeing.

You will build meaningful relationships with children and families while contributing to a positive inclusive and high-quality learning environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and implementation of engaging educational programs

  • Create a safe nurturing and inclusive learning environment

  • Observe and document childrens learning and development

  • Build positive relationships with children families and colleagues

  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality education and care

  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) National Quality Standards (NQS) and all relevant legislation

  • Act as the Responsible Person for the service
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the centre

  • Step into a leadership role and run the room in the absence of the Lead Educator

  • Support childrens wellbeing learning and development through meaningful interactions

  • Manage both opening and closing shifts

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:


  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)

  • Available to work MondayThursday with the flexibility to work 10 hour shifts

  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)

  • Current First Aid CPR Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications

  • Current Child Protection training/certificate

  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for early childhood education

  • Preferably 1 years experience working in an early childhood education and care setting

  • Act as the Responsible Person ensuring the centre operates safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements

  • Take responsibility for opening and closing shifts supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre

  • Step into a leadership capacity when the Room Leader is absent providing guidance and support to the team and ensuring the room continues to operate effectively
