We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Assistant Centre Director to join our team at Mini Masterminds Leichhardt (32-place centre).

About the Role

As Assistant Centre Director you will work closely with the Centre Director to support the day-to-day operations of the service while maintaining the highest standards of education and care.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will mentor and support educators build strong relationships with children and families and help drive a positive team culture. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre and lead the service in the Centre Directors absence.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Centre Director with the daily operations of the centre

  • Lead mentor and support educators to deliver high-quality education and care

  • Foster a positive collaborative and inclusive team culture

  • Build strong relationships with children families and the local community

  • Support compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) National Quality Standards (NQS) and all relevant legislation

  • Assist with staffing rostering and centre administration

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuous improvement processes

  • Lead the centre confidently in the absence of the Centre Director

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:


  • Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)

  • Previous leadership experience within an Early Childhood Education setting

  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)

  • Current First Aid CPR Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications

  • Current Child Protection training/certificate

  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

  • Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills

  • A genuine passion for mentoring educators and delivering high-quality education and care
